I recently received a call from my mom about a photo of her husband holding a photo print with a child inside it.
I didn’t have time to answer, so I sent her an email asking if she had any advice.
The response: “This is not a safe photo.
Please do not send this to anyone.
This is a creepy photo.
This person is disturbing you.”
And so, for a year I waited for my mom to make the call.
Then, last week, my mom sent me a photo from a business card she sent me.
I looked at the photo and thought, I want that.
But I couldn’t send it.
That day, I received a second email.
It said, “This photo is not for your business card.
Please never send this photo to anyone.”
And that’s when I knew I had to do something.
So I did something.
I emailed her back and asked, “What is the worst photo I’ve ever seen?”
And she told me that there’s no such thing as a “worst photo.”
